REVOCATION OF THE DRIVING LICENCE
It is ordered by the Prefect, the Civil Motorisation Office, and the Judge, and consists of the permanent cancellation of the driving licence.
It is ordered:
if driving despite the suspension of the driving licence
when the driver, on a motorway, reverses the direction of travel or drives against the flow of traffic on the carriageway
due to the permanent loss of physical or mental requirements;
when the holder no longer possesses the required moral standards;
when the licence itself is replaced by another issued by a foreign state
when the holder, having undergone a re-examination, is found to be no longer fit
It is not true that it is ordered:
when the driver drives with an expired driving licence
fails to carry the driving licence
when the driver drives without corrective lenses when prescribed
