Two-way traffic
It is a danger sign that warns (usually 150 metres in advance) that a one-way carriageway becomes a two-way traffic road and therefore vehicles travelling in the opposite direction may be encountered.
It therefore indicates that the one-way traffic system ends and that greater caution must be exercised.
If it has a yellow background, it is placed in the presence of roadworks.
Overtaking, where permitted, must be carried out with particular caution.
It is not correct that it warns of alternating one-way traffic, the right of way in alternating one-way systems, or that it requires giving priority to vehicles approaching from the opposite direction.
