End of pedestrian zone
It is a mandatory sign. It indicates the end of a pedestrian precinct/zone (intended for pedestrian traffic).
Therefore, it indicates that from that point onwards, pedestrians no longer travel on a reserved path.
It is not true that it prohibits pedestrians from crossing the road or that it indicates the end of a pedestrian crossing.
