This supplementary sign is placed in a series of multiple elements to highlight the outer edge of a dangerous curve (thereby improving visibility).
It is useful for increasing the visibility of the road's alignment from a distance.
If white and red, it indicates a temporary diversion in the presence of roadworks.
It is not true that it is located 150 metres before a curve, or that it is only present if the curve is on a one-way street.
