CARAVAN (ROULOTTE)

A caravan is a trailer that can be used as accommodation when the vehicle is stationary (it is therefore incorrect to state that it can be used for accommodation while in motion, provided that all passengers wear their seat belts).
In caravans, to reduce the risk of overturning on bends, the load must be distributed as evenly as possible between the right and left sides and arranged to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible (heavy objects must be placed at the bottom).
