It is not permitted to:
drive in a zig-zag manner, even if the directional lanes are marked by broken (dashed) lines
abruptly change the direction of travel
perform a U-turn
occupy the opposite lane of travel (including, for example, to overtake a bicycle)
stop on pedestrian crossings, even if the pedestrian traffic light is red
stop, if on extra-urban roads
It is not true that it is prohibited to exceed a speed of 60 km/h, to use acoustic signaling devices, or that overtaking is prohibited when regulated by a traffic light.
When approaching an intersection:
one must prepare to observe the right-of-way rules
exercise maximum caution to avoid accidents
one must move in good time into the lane designated for the intended direction
the intention to turn must be signaled in good time
when driving a two-wheeled vehicle, one must queue behind other waiting vehicles
entering the intersection is permitted only if it is possible to proceed and clear it
if it is not immediately clear who has the right-of-way, one must proceed with caution and care
If two vehicles arrive simultaneously from different roads, the obligation to yield the right-of-way usually rests with the driver of the vehicle arriving from the left; however, both must reduce their speed to avoid accidents. One must be cautious and tolerant towards those who proceed first, even if they do not have the right-of-way.
When approaching an intersection and realizing that the wrong pre-selection lane has been taken, one must follow the direction permitted by any road markings (while yielding the necessary right-of-way).
To avoid confusion and rear-end collisions, and to prevent obstructing other vehicles, one must not change lanes, stop abruptly, or stop to ask for information (not even from traffic officers).
It is not true that one must pull over to the right and stop until the queue of following vehicles has passed, or reverse to the point where the continuous lines end, or wait for a gap in traffic to allow a lane change.
If, upon the signal to proceed, the preceding vehicle is slow to start moving:
within built-up areas, the use of the horn to prompt the driver of the preceding vehicle to move is prohibited
it is advisable to wait patiently for the vehicle to resume movement
it is advisable to avoid sounding the horn insistently and causing frustration among other motorists
